How to Create a Brand Board in Jansuite
Introduction
A brand board is an essential tool for maintaining a cohesive and professional visual identity for your business. It helps ensure consistency across all marketing materials, making your brand instantly recognizable. If you're using Jansuite, creating a brand board is simple and effective. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Create a New Brand Board
To begin, navigate to your Jansuite dashboard and locate the "Marketing" section > Brand Boards > New. We have several templates to choose from if you don't have colors already. If you do have your own logos and colors, start from blank.
Step 2: Upload Your Logo
Your logo is the foundation of your brand identity. Upload your primary logo in a high-resolution format (SVG is recommended for website use, PNG is recommended for static placements). This is your main logo in the first spot and will likely include your company name. Under this section in Logo 2, we advise a favicon. A favicon is a small icon associated with a website, typically displayed in the browser tab, bookmarks, and address bar. Favicons help users quickly identify a website among multiple open tabs or saved bookmarks. This will usually just be your logo image or a reduced, circular version of your logo. If you're on a browser right now, look up at your tabs. See those little circular logos above each website? Favicons.
Step 3: Define Your Brand Colors
Choose and set your primary and secondary brand colors. Jansuite allows you to input HEXA color codes to maintain precision. Ensure that these colors align with your website, social media, and marketing materials for a consistent look.
Already Have Color Codes?
Click the color pallet at the top of the left-hand menu
Select the grey color and the color picker opens
Enter the first color code in the HEXA box and hit "enter/return"
Repeat for your other colors adding more as needed. (We don't recommend more than 4 colors. 2-3 is ideal)
Don't have color codes, but know relatively what you want?
Use Canva's Color tools to help you generate color pallets, complementary colors, discover color meanings, and more!
(It can be fun to get crazy and want to pick all of your favorite colors, but not every color looks good together or performs well for a brand. Start with the mood or energy you want your brand to give people when they see it and select color pallets that complement.)
Step 4: Select Your Brand Fonts
Typography plays a crucial role in branding. Set your primary and secondary fonts for headings, subheadings, and body text. If your brand has a signature font style, upload or select it within Jansuite’s font customization settings.
Go back to the top of the left-hand menu and select the Topography tab.
Set your fonts for headings and body text. Again, make sure they complement each other and don't clash.
Step 5: Save Your Brand Board
Once all elements are uploaded and customized, save your settings. Jansuite will apply these branding elements across your emails, funnels, automations, and client communications, ensuring consistency in every touchpoint.
